Research Interests

All information on this page and the sub-pages is outdated and just kept for historic reference and hot-linking. Up-to-date information can be found on my lab's webpage.

Scalable Parallel Computing Laboratory (SPCL) Research Page

My current main interests are the optimization of MPI-Collective Communication especially with InfiniBand hardware and the optimized parallel implementation of Ab Initio Calculations.

Other interests include:

  • Design of Communication Hardware (e.g. Hardware Barrier)
  • Large Scale Parallel Systems (e.g. BlueGene/L)
  • Parallel Programing and Application Optimization (e.g. Linpack)
  • Computer Architectures (CPU Internals, e.g. IBMs Cell Processor)
